Chat link unfurling, AI Signals enhancements, automation improvements, platform refinements, and usability updates continue across Kustomer.

We’re continually working to improve our platform for you. This page highlights new features and improvements on the Kustomer platform, all in one place. Check here regularly to stay up-to-date with the latest changes.

### **Link Carousels in Chat (May 26)**

When an agent or automated message includes two or more URLs, the chat widget and SDKs now display the URL previews as a horizontal, swipeable carousel instead of a vertical stack of cards — giving customers a richer, more intuitive way to browse multiple items at once. [Enable this option in Chat Settings](https://kustomer.kustomer.help/en_us/settings-B1sdKbtz7#url-unfurling).

### Link Unfurling in Chat setting (May 19)

Chat now supports the ability to disable link unfurling. This gives your team more control over how links appear in conversations. Previously, links shared in Chat would automatically expand to show a preview. Now, admins can turn this behavior off so links display as plain text instead. To disable, navigate to Apps > Chat > Settings and toggle off link unfurling.

### Company dashboard People and Conversations tabs (May 12)

Support teams that manage multiple contacts under the same organization often need a faster way to understand customer relationships and active work across a company account. The updated company timeline (now called [company dashboards](https://help.kustomer.com/en_us/company-dashboards-B1pfCfZ57)) introduces dedicated **People** and **Conversations** tabs, giving teams a clearer operational view of customer engagement across a company from a single location.

### **AHT in Data Explorer (May 12)**

[AHT](https://help.kustomer.com/en_us/aht-in-kustomer-rye0nqkdee) queries in Data Explorer are back. We've introduced a dedicated query path for Average Handle Time, powered by the same unified calculation engine used across Custom Reporting, Standard Reports, and the API.

This feature is available to all admins

### **Sort Searches by Custom Attributes** **(May 7)**

You can now [sort searches across Conversations, Customers, Companies, Messages, and KObjects by your org's custom attributes](https://help.kustomer.com/en_us/use-search-to-organize-your-work-ByRvj4B8#sort) — not just standard fields like Created At or Status. Number, Text, and Date attribute types are sortable. Open any search, click the **Sort** dropdown, and your sortable custom attributes will appear alongside the standard fields. Search Copilot is also on board — ask it something like __"Show me orders sorted by total spend, highest first"__ and it will construct the sort automatically.

This feature is available to all admins and agents with search access.

### **Aggregate Table Chart**  **(May 5)**

The Aggregate Table is a new chart type in Custom Report Builder that lets you compare multiple metrics side by side in a single view. Each row represents a unique value of a shared dimension — like channel, team, or queue — and each column is an independently configured metric query. You can add up to 10 metric columns, toggle any column to display as a percentage of the row total, apply column-specific filters, and control sort order, row limits, pagination, and a totals row. You can also use the Reporting Assistant to further analyze what you're seeing directly within the table.

To get started, go to **Custom Reports > Add Chart**, select any metric, and choose **Aggregate Table** as the visualization type.

This feature is available to admins and supervisors on plans with Custom Reporting access. Learn more [here](https://help.kustomer.com/en_us/using-the-aggregate-table-chart-in-custom-reports-SJLhCKkRg).

### **Brand-Aware AI for Customers (AIC 2.0-only) (May 1)**

AI for Customers 2.0 can automatically identify and select knowledge articles and external knowledge sources by brands based on conversation context. The AI first looks for a matching brand and uses all knowledge source content associated to that brand. If a knowledge source has no brand, the AI will include it regardless of the brand the conversation is associated to and perform a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) search across all included sources.

### **URL Filtering and Nightly Re-indexing for Knowledge Sources (May 1)**

Public URL knowledge sources now support nightly re-indexing and advanced URL filtering, making it easier to keep your AI automations accurate and up to date. Additionally, if a sync fails, you can view the failure reason, filter for failed URLs, and retry syncing either in bulk or individually. You can also control which URLs are included during indexing by adding include or exclude rules based on URL prefixes. This allows you to remove irrelevant or low-quality content and ensure only the most useful pages are used by your AI.

This feature is available to orgs and admins using Knowledge Sources with AI Automations. Learn more [here](https://kustomer.kustomer.help/en_us/add-public-urls-r1IqUxWKJg#reindexing).
